Most places that stock K&N Filter(autobahn) have a little display that shows the difference in air flow between standard filter n K&N filter....Its a little box with sum 120mm fans in it n a tube witha ping pong ball in it with a big hole for the filter to sit in...with the K&N Filter the ball goes all the way to the top, but with the standard replacement filters dont even make the ball go to even half way so it just shows how much easier it is for the air to travel thru the K&N filters....they are the way to go....for sumfink that is a $100 and can last up to 1000000km's y would u not go out get one....They are definatley worth the dosh.....

As most people stick with stage 1 upgrades, its I guess essential to have a K&N or other similar air filters.

thanks guys for that info..
by Stage One holden007, you mean easy/cheap bolt on extras ?
What would next stage be ?
K&N sounds like the go, may try another first though,, see how we go, price doesn't seem too different to warrant cheaper one first though...

As WILD VR CLUBBLY has mentioned, Exhaust, CAI, K&N and I'm not sure for extractors is in stage one (probably is), as extractors are good for beyond upgrades.
