Hey everyone, i have a VT and i have gone through 2 or 3 fuses in the past month!! The one that keeps blowing is the interior one, it controls the parkers, rear lights, and interior illumination, it is in the top left hand side of the fuse box as far as i remember. I have Fog lights on my VT and they run off the parkers switch, and im thinking they are somehow causing the fuse to blow. Could there be a miss wiring somewhere overloading the fuse or something? What could be the cause of the fuses blowing fairly quickly? Thanks guys
Interior lighting on the same circuit would suggest that maybe the loom that goes through the door has a short. Replace the fuse, turn the parkers on and go around and open and shut each door a few times. If the lights go out, check the loom on the door you were using. Fog lights should really be on there own circuit too. Does it only blow with the fog lights on?
Well dad was driving and he said about 5 minutes after driving, all the lights shut off. He had the normal lights on, which is parkers and beamers. But yes, the fog lights are connected to the parkers. same wiring, ill go check the doors now.
