Keep the V6 or look for a V8

I currently have a v6 vz ute that runs pretty well and i'm looking for a project car and i'm wondering is the v6 worth keeping to do up or should i look for a 8? Is it worth engine swapping the 6 ? i just want to see what my options sort of are. thank you

If it was an earlier V6 it might have been worth hanging onto. But given the VZ got petty much the worst V6 engine brought out, a V8 is a better bet.

Only 6 you want in vz range is the 6 litre

Take one for a drive...with the right mods you'll love it!
