so the painting got pushed out till next weekend... keen as to get it in paint so i can slot the donk in

thanks guys ive also got a fire pit made from one half of a dump truck split rim its about 4ft diameter and 1" thick steel.. there coming in handy at the moment as its dropping below 0 at night

should have a good update after the weekend once its painted.. guy at the crash shop said if i wanna learn how to spray with a gun he will show me... keen as to give it a go its all about learning

here is a few pics of the donor can its a VN calais 5lt auto.. picked it up for $2000 off a mate. the auto trans was very ordinary and once i pulled it out i saw there was a heap of water in the oil. ended up with about $1000 bucks worth of cartons for all the bits and pieces everyone wanted off it like the power windows,diff, seats. 3 level cluster and brakes. so not a bad deal really

sent the motor off straight away with plans of just a freshen up ... but the salesman did his thing and next thing i know it comes back with a scat 355 stroker kit in it haha he twisted my arm. also got he heads recond with newer style seals. block was blue printed, clearanced and machined for a neo rear main seal. kit has .030" oversized hypertech pistons scat crank and scat rods

so anyway i was moving house the other day and while moving a box my flywheel decided to drop out of the bottom of it and landed edge first onto my big toe. f*cked it good

i think i did break it that was a couple of months ago and its still heaps fat and i cant bend it hahahaha.... no more pain though so she'll be right
