Kenwood DDX5015BT and steering wheel controls

Sorry I posted this else where by mistake

I know steering wheel controls and aftermarket HU have been done to death on here BUT I have searched for hours and can not get a definitive answer.

I am wanting to hook the DDX5015BT unit up to the steering wheel controls but do I need another harness to do this other than the ones that come with it?

It will be going into a VX Clubby with a VZ steering wheel and buttons.

Where I bought it says no that it is ready to go and I do not need to buy a Module.

Looking on the unit itself there is a Steering Wheel remote wire on the main harness - but it also comes with a 3.5m Plug with 3 wires for steering wheel controls as well.

I'm confused on how to get it to work or what I need to buy next?

Here's the instructions to program the HU to recognise your steering control buttons (Scroll down to bottom of page)
