Key Fob Reprogram For Body Control Module Help

I bought another VS but its an executive and I ran it through for a road worthy and one of the problems is the BCM (body control module) as the key when turned to start the car does nothing unless you press the unlock button on the key body first then it starts, If I buy a CBM from the wreckers with the same number and LO/MID/HI/LUX I will still have the problem of getting a key fob programmed unless I find a key to go with the CBM at the wreckers but can I buy my own key programmer to reprogram the key I already have and if yes where?
