keypad?

hey guys,

I have a VT series II with the standard immobiliser, I do however have a small keypad by the steering coloumn on the right hand side of the dash, this keypad green and has 4 buttons (1-4). I bought this car second hand, is this stock? if so how do I use it?.

No, it isn't stock I can tell you that much. I'm not sure how you would use it. Speak to the previous owner regarding it. Look in your glovebox for Extra manuals. Contact the dealership from where you brought the car.

not that easy, it was a seized car.
the owner refuses to talk to me (a bit sour i think)
and the dealer has no clue, cheers for the advice

sounds like one of those aftermarket ones that used car dealers fit

you need a 4 digit pin no for it

I would suggest getting a car elec to remove it and everything that comes along with it.

The prev owner might just pay a visit....if he can't have it...neither can you

ohhh sounds fun. i agree its something i wouldnt mind seeing replaced with a sexy new security system.
