kickdown cable

    , i am half way through the job of changing over throttle bodies ( as per previous post ) , all i got left is to take the k-down cable off of the old accelerator plate, does the plastic thing holding the cable just snap of the pin ?, i dont wanna brake it , and the new t/b has got no pin/mounting bush for it, anybody know how to remove replace ? , thanks.................

    sounds like your new throttle body could be off a vr/vs

    you could be right the new one's got no pin and looks like in never did ! , they had electronic kickdown i think ..........

    Hi , thanks for replies,ive now got another t/b with pin for k-down cable , ill give it a clean and try again , hope the plastic cable end comes off / goes on without snapping ! , im gonna look at the injectors aswell but ill leave that for another thread , thanks.................
