Kicker L7, Rockford D1 or Alpine Type X?

G'day Guys,

I am looking at putting some subs in my Berlina and I can't decide between Kicker L7s, Rockford D1s or Alpine Type Xs.
Probably gonna get two 12", but I don't know what would be the best.
I have been told to go for the Type Xs, but the L7s sound good and have heard that the D1s and exceptional too.
Any help will be great.

If you can't decide how are we supposed to help you. I might like the sub with the most sound quality, but you might find it doesn't have enough output. So there's no point in us telling you which one we prefer, because your the one who will be listening to it.

Your still going to get a few reply's though such as my mates cousins sisters brother from another mother has "xxx sub" and it's fully sick.

Start by telling us your budget, so that we can recommend you better options. Also, what do you want in a subwoofer? Sound quality or lots of bassssssssssss?

Here's the truth, for the price of those units you can get much better subwoofers (esp the Alpine), they aren't that crash hot.
Few examples:
(Sound Quality): Morel Ultimo, Morel Ultimo SC, Polk SR124
(Bass output): Kicker L7, Any Digital Designs sub
(good mix of both): Image Dynamics IDMAX, JL Audio W7AE

No one usually listens to other suggestions. So, I'm going to say L7's if you want stupidly loud bass, Type-X if you want something more sound quality oriented.

In all honesty, I'm surprised we haven't seen more hostility given the nature of some threads recently.
