Hey

i'm thinking of lowering my ute, i don't use it for work and don't like how high it sits with the stock suspension... but i do like the ride quality and how it absorbs bumps etc

what i was concerned about was if i lowered it with king springs.. will the ride quality become rough as guts?? i'm after the lower look, but with the stock feel or close too

are kingys the go? or are there other springs i should maybe take a look at instead

cheers!!

what shockys u using?

i understand lowering a car is gonna harden up the suspension a bit, i just don't want my fillings falling out when i hit tiny pot holes

I got Kingspring SL on my VX with stock hocks. Its ok in normal driving but feels shity when going over speed bumps.

Try to look for Lowerd Spring, they're lower than FE2s but not too low.

i fitted lows as they are meant to be around the same height as fe2, but they settled lower with the rear tyres flush with the top of the guards.
Fitted with monroe shocks,it does ride a fair bit rougher than standard but also handles heaps better. Hope this helps
