got my parts from Perth this Morning .. new revised tensioner assy

replaces the single tensior to a duel system with a idler .. bolt air compressor off replace with this new mount and done.. wont chuck another belt ..

also getting new Bendix pads and rotors fitted tomorrow :)

19" I presume? whats on it now 18's? would look schmick I reckon BUT might just need a subtle bit of lowering.

LOL .. yeah 19" .. dont wanna lower it plus i think i really wanna keep this sleeper look going ..
might just save my money and buy some engine bay accessories

I think the money would be much bettet spent on the engine. Same money as a set of rims would get u some ported bare heads, with ur already upgraded vavletrain you'd just have to swap it all over ??

Nice car Kingy, love the sleeper look.

Have you checked the balancer?
The throwing of the A/C belt is a common issue, and numerous people have discovered their harmonic balancer has unacceptable run out.
As a mechanic by trade, I'm still yet to be convinced that having an extra pulley is going to keep a belt on a pulley when the balancer has a 3-5mm wobble. However, the balancer wobbling 3-5mm at 5-6000rpm would certainly cause the belt to jump around.
My A/C belt has come off a couple of times but I've been fortunate that it hasn't done any damage to either the belt or anything else. I have a new Powerbond balancer to go on at its 90K service, so will see how that goes.

Yes we also placed a new balancer on there.. it looked like it didn't need it but just for piece of mind :)
its been over a week now with no issues :) ..
