Low speed turns giving me the s**** in my VZ Adventra! Pedders have done their 28 point check and are not sure, my usual mechanic can find nothing wrong - but it's still there!

Suspect the usual strut mount problems that all commodores seem to have - but anyone else with other outcomes - or best to change the mounts/bearings? Also are the nolathane type better?

    Thanks

Have u checked all nuts n bolts?
How bout where the front swaybar bolts onto the lower control arm! Go over everything with a fine tooth combe, to make sure u havent missed anything.

My sister had the same noise in her Camry & thats wat it turned out to be.

if it happens only when u steering could be your front CV joints. as the needle bearings in the joint are shot.(just like a front wheel drive car)

Except that it's a RWD car and I don't believe there are any CV joins in the front?

i dont think you know what an adventra is....

they had front diff problems with some of the V8 models but its usually a whine at low speed cornering not a clunk

A VZ will still have warranty, take it back for repair, easy(unless you have done tons of k's)

Anyway mine made noise when i got it, found the rack brackets to be lose

Pedders Mandurah (bless them - at last:bow:) were the first place to find the source of the ******* annoying steering klonks at full lock - the rack holding bolts needed tightening.
This source of noise has been covered many times before on this and other forums and would have been obvious for any decent workshop to check.
I had asked various workshops to check these, but like so many other things in SW WA had not been taken seriously.:bang:
