Km's per tank for 5.7Gen3 V8?

i get around 480 in traffic... averaging 15.7L/100kms and that is when granny footing.

With new cam/head complete top end, i managed 520 km's on the highway

Mind you i am now running 3.9's and over 330 rwkw...After the next phase of engine mods, im guessing that will drop again to about 450.

What sort of cam/head combo did you go for

i get around 500 km but if i go to empty probally 540 this is city driving start stop etc but when i fill my tank the trip computer says 520 till empty and my ss is stock standard

With cruise on and in 6th gear I can get from Melb to Albury and back on one tank-over 700kms.Lucky to get 400kms in town!

What sort of cam/head combo did you go for

Custom higgins cam 235/245, Higgins ported heads etc, myriad of other bits and pieces.
(Should also mention the fuel systems changes etc)

yeah tell me about it ...... deno HSV...... i get 400 if im lucky not gunning it around.... 600kms... wht u guys putting in.... i put in the liberty 98% boost.... or occasionaly the 95 ethonal one..... and if i thrash it barel 350....

BP Ultimate 98...wont use nothing else and its the only high octane fuel in perth...no vortex yet or shell

Hi

i jump for joy if i get 400-450 a tank out of my vx2 ss m6 around town but get 650 on highway.

im led to believe that all tanks are 75l but the distance to empty kicks in with about 10-15l left in the tank.

If you hold the mode button and the up button as you turn on your ignition on then release it and press the mode button several times it will give you a reading of how much fuel is still in your tank, when its saying its empty.
