Knock in suspension

Hey guys, I have a 2006 Vz Calais l76, I have a knock coming through steering wheel pretty much constantly over any bumps big or small, I have all new gt monroe lowered sports suspension with all super pro insulators, king springs all new, steering rack has done only 5000kms if that, rhf ball joint has been done, 2 new link rods, 2 new front sway bar bushes, new top mounts,rhf rack end, control arm bushes are newish and knock is still there, starting to do my head in and no one knows what it is.

Get under there and give everything a spanner check. Make sure all bolts are torqued correctly. Cross member as well.

Check the exhaust isn’t knocking on anything.

Hub and strut bolts torqued correctly.

Yeah all been check bolts are tight and exhaust isn’t hitting

If you've only done 1 ball joint check the rest. Ball joints can sound like they're coming from one side but can actually be the other side. If the kframe bolts are loose it can do the same thing.

I have a knock under brakes and sometimes over bumps. D bushes took care of most of it but it still knocks sometimes. I'm now going to replace the top four round link bushes and see if that takes care of the rest.

have you checked the notorious engine mounts especially if they have been replaced with the solid core ones which are felt thru the steering wheel, even front wheel bearing hubs knock/vibrate through the wheel

Tierod ends?

Get someone to wiggle the steering while you hold each tie rod end.

You know those brackets in the corners of the chassis in the engine bay. Give the nuts a tweek.
