Hi there people, does anybody know what type of brake booster is used in a vx l67 berlina?

Same as all the other VX models I would imagine.

They all used the same double diaphragm booster, there are no changes for different models as far as I am aware.

There is a difference in the brake booster between abs & no abs.

I found this out when l fitted vx abs traction control to my wagon.

I left the original booster in.
When abs trac. was fitted & bled, brakes would not work properly.
You could also here a suction noise from under the dash about where the booster was.
Put the proper booster in (from donor car), & was working properly with no sucking noise.

Booster or MC ? Traction control is via the ABS unit so I don't see how that would effect the booster. Maybe the original booster was faulty?

When the brakes where original the brakes all worked on both vehicles
When changing m/c abs/trac, different rear pipes, the only thing l didn't change was the booster. Once changed it all worked properly.
