L67 Engine Number

Now i'm really confused..... Please help.....

Just got my Reco engine, it had a tag on it saying VY Supercharged V6, but the engine number on it is VH020882.

My first thoughts are it's a VR or VS N/A block with L67 heads and probably L67 internals?

Engine number with "VH" is not a S/C block.

Yeah thats what I thought. I hope that they put the S/C pistons, conrods, etc. I might have to ring up the place I bought it from and ask them....

This is not true as I can not be bothered putting in my argument you should just look up on car sales the late vs statesmans an early vt ones have the engine number vhxxxxxxxx thats supercharged this is invalid information dont allways believe everything you read on forums

Not worried anymore, I ended up getting the engine I bought from the wreckers (VY L67) rebuilt and sent the other one back.

I only put this in cause I was having the same problem an wanted to help others even though it was 2 yrs old its the only real thread on it do your reseach before believing anyone even me but thats just what I came up with in all my searches that is all
im not trying to have a cok measering contest just trying to help with others

The serial number (872343) lines up with the VS utes of mid to late 1999. But they all have VH prefix not the VA. Do you have a photo of the engine number?

Hi I'm trying to figure out what engine is in my holden vx. The plate says its a l67 but it does not have a s/charger on it an my engine number is va 181114. I recently changed my rocker cover gaskets and found I had to buy the s/charger gaskets for it to fit the grove. Does this mean my engine is ment to be s/charged an can be s/charged. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
