What is going do be my best option? will any l67 flex plate work? or am i going to have to pull out the crank?? motor is out of the car atm.

Grab another l67 flex plate.
I've got one here, but comparing to other flex plates I've seen, they have minor adjustments to the balance. Which has me worried.

Grab one that hasn't been messed with.

None of the flex plates pictured have been messed with. This is done from factory? I assume every engine is balanced individually?

I have swapped a cracked flex plate before with another l67 flexplate and didn't notice any difference.

Maybe someone else knows more about this and cares to share.

I'm hoping that the adjustments are to balance the actually flexplate alone, and are not made in relations to the crank.

From what I understand is a flex plate is not critically matched to a crank, however a flywheel is. You need the original flex plate in order to mirror balance.
