Would of been reset as it hit the floor no doubt, some guy like yourself took it around the block, heavy footed a bit, then pulled back into the shop = what you got. When I test drove this car at the dealership today, on the trip computer it said its using 17.5 Litres per 100kms. This couldnt be right? The car has low k's and runs like a gem, could it be because dealers put 5litres of petrol in these things and its judging off that?
An Ls1 is not going to save any fuel trust me.I have a VX II Supercharged Calais 6. I average between 13.5 litres to 15 litres per 100km. I do a lot of stop/start driving in heavy traffic and have been know to sink the boot in. The car is almost stock but I do have a Pacemaker 2.5" twin system. With fuel at a $1.50 per litre for 98RON you need to be sure it is what you want. If you are doing a lot of highway driving I would consider a Supercharged V6 or even LS1.
