The machinist who did my Buick heads did a brilliant job. I don't know enough about the workings of engines to know what he did. But when I got it back it was like the engine was bluprinted. The power delivery was smoothed right out when on the throttle. Hard to explain but prior to the porting it felt harsh under throttle whereas it was ultra smooth after the trick heads were fitted, and this was a Buick V6 which have a tendency to feel rough.

Other thing apart from intercooling is you could run a cam with decent duration and some overlap.

Increase the efficiency of the motor will automatically lower the boost stacking. Bit of overlap will bleed the cylinder pressure out again too.

You'll be able to run a smaller pulley without increasing the boost. It'll make you crack a fat on idle too.
