Hey folks
I have searched everywhere can not find an answer
I have a mildly worked new L67 engine conversion on VS ecotech PCM. Obviously it has to go to dyno for remap. But can I start it up and run it in and check all is ok on ecotech VS factory tune. Of course revs must be kept down say under 3000.
Hardware includes sealed power pistons, new L67 zz performance rods, balanced, stock heads and throttle body, ported blower, 9 psi pulley, no interooler but larger radiator, 2.5” cat back exhaust. Walbro 255 pump, 36 lb injections. Mace stage 2 cam package, heavy duty valve springs, double row chain etc.
probably some initial idle issues but will the engine be damaged by ecotech tune in low to moderate use till it’s ready for dyno ?
Any experience greatly appreciated
