L67 vs cammed ecotec what's better

Hi guys so here's my little problem I just got a vx with 172,000 on it.. I have a l67 here with 300,000kms on it or I can cam and head work the l36 question is what would be more reliable and what would be faster I guess l67 with 10 psi pulley but high milage or cammed l36

if you have the money to put a cam in and work the heads just buy stock internals new for the L67 it will be just like new then you can put 10 or up to 15 psi on L67 internals would be better than a cammed L36 with head work.

also sell the L36 as a under 200,000k engine good 350 to 400 to go extra into the L67

Have to agree with Brysha89, my L67 gets up a boogies when you put the foot down [being a stock L67],
however, if you drive it correctly, you can get the fuel economy down to 13 L/100k suburbia, or 8.1 L/100k out on the open road [freeways] ie: Melbourne to Shepparton, and back to Melbourne again on 1/4 tank. [being a 75L Tank] using cruise control all the way as its 100 km/h and 110 km/h [95 octane]

The higher mileage engine WILL need more work in the near future if you give it mods and then flog it.
The lower mileage engine will last longer on the money you spend on it.
And, don't those superchargers just provide low end boost to improve fuel economy?
A cammed engine with well flowed heads will provide more revvy type fun.
Make sure you keep the oil up to the top mark !
