So, I'm new to the whole engine thing but my L98 has been making some horrible lifter/pushrod? noise for quite some time now. So now that I have a bit of funds saved up I'm thinking I want to put new lifters, pushrods and a cam in it.

Wanting to do the work myself. Have basic knowledge. Just looking for some hints/tips on what sort of cam/lifters/pushrods I should use. Wanting a cam a bit more lumpier than the stock.

Car is auto with hurricane extractors and hurricane 3" system.

Any and all advice is appreciated.

Find out what's making the noise and then find out what caused it. Might be low on oil or oil pressure.

It's got enough oil and is running with 1-4 bars of oil pressure.

Defs sounds like a lifter tick.
