    hey guys umm i was driving down the road today and my engine light came on so went around a corner lost all power and now my gear box lags its like riding the hell out off a clutch on take off excect i got an auto please help

    Thats Limp home mode.

    Do a fault code check and come back to us.

    yeah man it was working the hole time i know this because i could only get it up to twenty
    but the car drives fine now ?

    I had a suspicion it was fine, seems like a pretty big symptom to leave out if it wasn't working haha.

    Probably a random fault, the computer has taken its self out of limp home mode. Mine did it once too.

    If it happens again check the VSS wiring or replace the sensor.

    it can also do it if your battery voltage drops to low. like if your alternator isnt working and it gets down to around 10 volts or so. ive had this happen to me before and it wasnt fun. but who knows what goes on in the mind of the car. they can sometimes do some strange and wacky things lol
