Just wondering if a radiator block would solve a coolant leak between the motor an box if it just a few drops overnight.

Band -aid fixes lead to more issues, I say you posted in the wrong section, if its a vz then happy days. To fix it its a pain in the arse as you probably already no, depending where the leak is if its hose then no, if its a seal maybe maybe not. Better off getting it fixed that means hours in labour cost if you cant replace the thermostat seal. There 2 options remove the transmission or striping down the top half of inlet manifold and with small hands and lot of patience you get it, it maybe just loose, if you go ahead replace the thermostat as well wile your at it..

sure it can work but just like life, its only temporary, not permanent
