Something like these will do the job.
led festoon bulb | eBay

As far as I can remember, it's the same type of globe as the interior dome light, called a "festoon globe".
As there are different lengths of these, I would suggest you measure the length of the globe first.

Yep, as said above the exact same LED panel you used in your dome light will be the same for your boot and glove box (12V 10A). Festoon does sound right. You can get the cheapies off eBay but I recommend the $11 SCA brand at Super Cheap. Pretty pricey but they last a good amount of time. I'd also recommend replacing your 10AMP fuse at the same time for an extra $3-$4 for a pack of 5.

Edit: also, try to stick with the 9 LED panel, don't think a 10-12 LED panel would fit very easily.

First page in my build thread, link in signature

Others have done it as well

5metre led strip cut to size and soldered inline with the boot light

Also added the strips to the dome light and cup holder.

If you are handy, easy to do

And did not change fuse

There is lots of things you can do, only limited to your imagination.
May be you don't want to go as far as this, but Ultra Violet Leds looks good and gives a good effect imo.
You get a few looks when you are loading the shopping into the boot at night at the supermarket ha-ha.

help please

hi, thanks guys for all of your replies.i havent bought the light for the boot yet but i have a problem.

i installed a led panel in my dome light and it works sometimes only.

before installing- when i unlock my car the light inside comes on inside and goes off by itself .

now it came on and went off but when i got in the car after work in the dark the light would not come on.

for some reason my brake light on the rear window stopped working as well and then later started working again.

i really want to use the led panel if i can as it is a lot brighter.
also, if i play with the wires etc the light comes on , but when i get back in the car after work its out again.

do i need to have a higher fuse or what can you guys suggest.thanks a lot, karen

Sometimes on the LED festoon type bulbs the metal parts on the ends can becomes loose and rotate causing a bad connection. LEDs don't drawm much power so a higher amp fuse is not necessary.
The brake light would be a separate issue not connected to the interior light.

As accent said^^.
Check the connection on the lamp holder as well. It may have a bit of grime on the connection.
It doesn't take much to make a bad connection.
Crawl under the parcel shelf in the boot and there you will find the brake light globe in a plastic holder.
I think you just have to give it a twist and it will come out.
The globe may be just loose in the holder.
