Bought some off eBay and they have crapped out in under two years. Anyone have a link to some decent ones or am i best to buy them from Jaycar and pay the higher price?

probably a good idea to find out why they "crapped out" perhaps getting too much juice?

They started flickering NFI why they would do that, I figured it was because they were cheap and nasty $15/$20 the pair.
They were fine for nearly two years. One snapped off today trying to get it out as it got stuck. Don't really want to spend $70 a pair. If it comes to that might be easier to go back to normal globes and fit an LED reverse flood light.

They are waste of money,
Been there and done that.
Put the STD globes back in,
I mentioned it before in another thread, and they still installed them.

Also, your Cruise Control may not work if you have LED Globes installed,
they sound to be good, suppose to look good, even you cant actually see them, but a waste of money.
If they were a better option, why didn't the Car Manufactures install them.

Our 07 family wagon Outlander has LED brake lights from factory.

I'm actually only fitting them in the reverse sockets as yes you need load resistors or they affect the cruise. On VRs the globes are all the same no matter what position in the rear housing they go in. That's the reason i had reverse/tailiglight because I bought reverse globes and they didn't fit and i had to grind one of the locating side lugs off. They were great for two years about but then they started flickering. The LED reverse globes threw out more light than the stock globes. I don't want to pay nearly 80 bucks a pair for decent ones though. Looking for a cheaper alternative that has been tried and and proven to be ok. 300 listings on ePrey and no way of knowing which ones will last, if any. Tried online but Autoelecau doesn't sell them, his gear i trust as i have dealt with him many times.

Got my led globes on Ebay for reverse lights, been on for around 8 years no problem but I don't travel on 4wd tracks daily ;). Nice and bright for reversing.

On the VS I just put STD. bulbs with a bigger wattage they don`t get time to heat up.
Proberly stay on for no more than a minute.
