Previously before this happened the left indicators when locking and unlocking the car would sometime stick. This would make the battery go flat.
NRMA would jump start the battery. I then asked the NRMA guy what could be the problem and he said it might be the flasher unit or the realy switches

He then pulled out the relay switch. He left and the car was left running. I then tried the indicators and they did not work at all. I noticed the 15amp (fuse 12 in diagram) was blown. Turn signal fuse.
I replaced the fuse, right indicator worked, left indicator would come on for one second and turn off blowing the fuse again. Then after replacing the 15amp fuse, the indicators would not work at all so I replaced the Flasher Unit. $28. Replaced the 15amp fuse again and same problem. When I turn on the left indicator it blows the 15amp fuse again.

Any ideas why the fuse is blowing.

Sounds like you have a short to earth on the left hand side. One of the power wires to the lights is touching the body and earthing out, blowing the fuse.

I would check the wiring for the left hand blinkers, particularly at the towbar plug (if you have one).

    For what its worth.
