VZ commodore wagon 2004
Hey guys, over the past 2-3 weeks my 2004 wagon has been absolutely drinking fuel. It stared not long after doing the 2-hole air box mod and then get even worse after changing oil/filter, topping up all fluid levels and installing a K&N air filter. I used to be able to get a bit over 2 weeks out of a tank but recently I can only get about 4-6 days before having to fill up. any ideas? TIA

Return your intake mods to standard and see if it fixes it. Could stick a patch over the extra holes you cut.
Those changes may have thrown the Air fuel mixture out of whack ?
Also might be worth disconnecting battery for 1/2 hour to reset computer...
Wonder if your 02 sensors are dying of old age and not responding to your changes...

Hey Greenacc, I un-hooked the battery and when I hooked it back up and turned it on it was revving a bit high but after a few laps around the block in the cold it was running perfect!! My mileage has gone from about 16L/100k to anywhere between 11-13L/100k. cheers!

Good to hear mate. A simple reset sometimes does the trick.
