hey guys i bought a second hand cluster off ebay because one of my lcds was farrked. so i plug it all in. the lcds work but no lights.. then i realise holy **** there is smoke coming from the cluster. well just so you guys know there are differences between the level 3 clusters. mine was a 93 and this was a 91. so i swapped the lcd bit and also the fuel gauge as mine was buggered also. finished doing all this . went for a night time drive and one of the lcd pannels has no backlight can anyone tell me where i could get a globe or something for it. thanks.
The bulbs are $20 from holden, I don't know if they are available anywhere else. I retrofitted mine with blue leds - much cheaper.
VN/VP Clusters don't work in VR/VS. Also the circuitry differs on the rear. Some models have green, some blue.
haha yeah i got one of each. would you know where you got your blue leds from. i like the sounds of this or holden part numbers thanks alot. also could you show me what it looks like?
