I've had a look at the autoinstruct guide and its pretty straight forward but that only shows from pcv valve > crank case, do you need to also put a catch can between valve cover > intake?

I ask as I seem to get a bit of oil vapour in the intake which seems to come from valve cover > intake.. or is this a separate issue?

Cheers

Why do you think you need one?

Did the pcv mod and got mixed messages about if its necessary or not.. figured it doesn't cost much so I'll do it

Interesting, I assume with a stock intake the new hose goes where the original did? And is the idea of this to simply prevent oil moving back through the hose into the intake when there is no vacuum?

Yes the oil stays in the separator and goes back down after you drop your revs.
The stock intake before the TB had oil in it.
No oil comes into the TB now.

One thing I do at service time is show how to take the separator out so the orings are not damaged.
Take hose off.
Turn the separator clockwise and pull at the same time.
Keeps orings in good condition and keeps it tight see pic.
I had a oring damaged I would say they just pulled up.

Where'd you get a replacement O-ring from?
I have the same CSS and one of my o-rings has now torn.

Have you checked your throttle body since installing the CSS? mine still has some oil evident.
