I've done a search and couldn't find a thread on licensing so I thought I would make one for everyone's questions?

    Okay I will start.
I live in Perth and I've found this really nice car, the only problem is that it's registered as a Victorian vehicle.
I've read up on the DPI website but it isn't very informing.
I was wondering if I buy this car does it have to go over the pits or can I just re-register it to WA.
    How's it done?
    Cheers.

ahh, I was afraid of that answer, lol.

I called them today and they didn't give me a straight answer, so I might have to call them tomorrow.

hopefully its similar to SA then.
I think we have a pretty laid back system compared to the eastern states, we don't need RWC or yearly checkups or anything, ones its rego'd its rego'd
