Any one here know how to replace the light that iluminates the power window switch on my VY Berlina?
It's really annoying me now - naturally it's the drivers one!
    Thanks

I can't tell you too much, but I know it's actually an LED and it's fiddly to replace. Phreddy changed mine to blue - it involves pulling the actual switch apart. If you send Phreddy a PM, I'm sure he'd be able to help...

You just gently pry the rocker part of the switch clear of the pivot from each side and the rocker part will come off and then with a small tipped soldering iron unsolder and replace or resolder if its just a broken joint on the led or the resistor.

Thanks guys - will give it a go when back from holiday.
BTW - anyone know where the LEDs are from - eg Jaycar?

markovr - good suggestion, but unfortunately the VY/VZ switch assembly is a little different.

wetwork - you'll have to lift the console centre panel out, then remove the window switch assembly. Two scres on the back will allow you to remove the rear cover plate, then you can list the circuit board out. You'll have to give it a bit of a pull to disengage the button for the child lock, but it'll come out. Once you're that far, the rest should be easy. (btw - I'd be very surprised if the LED is actually blown - more likely a flaky solder connection...)

    Cheerz!

Thanks Phreddy - couldn't see how to get the rockers out - suspect you're right about the solder. Light works sometimes OK.
