Hey all,

I have a few questions.

1. What would I exactly need to upgrade to get better stability in my VZ Exc around corners, my old VX used to handle them very well.

2. What are the absolute best brake pads I can get in my exc without getting the HSV Brake Package? (ebay linky or similar would be fantastic)

3. Would it help if I got the 2 bars that go across the motor and the one in the boot? (i'm sorry, i'm not so good with the lingo, they are strut bars?)

Thanks heaps

1. As said FE2 cheapest option, other than going full aftermarket

2. Bendix ultimates, ive used on previous cars & there great.

3. Its just one bar that goes across between the two struts at the front, u can buy this at any Holden dealer for around $50-$60.

thats is the gayest s**t i have ever heard, he didnt ask for your opinion on his driving style,

Lol at Naf, nice one mate:rofl:

Hey, I really appriciate the great replies.
I just have one final question to do with this.

Currently when I brake in the VZ, if it's necessary for me to brake hard and I go over a tiny bump on the road or a tiny pot hole, the brakes seem to go all strange, as in they don't like to grip and it's like a stuttering effect if that kinda makes sense. It's hard to explain but it's just shitting me.

Thank You

If it isnt ABS braking kicking in , maybe have a TRUSTED mechanic check out the braking system. Even if it is the ABS, either somethings wrong or your going waaaaay too fast

If its a shudder you feel in the brake pedal its a warped disc needing machining...common problem with vz's...I have the same problem under heavy breaking or breaking going over a hump..

^^ Any car can easily get warped discs. i had them in my corolla, i think they can be easily caused by heavy braking followed by it getting wet froma deep puddle
