Light showing through parcel shelf?

Hey guys,

so as part of my speaker upgrade project, my stock subs came out of the parcel shelf and the holes covered up.
and a mono block and 12" sub gone into the boot.

so i removed the parcel shelf and took out the subs, covered over the holes and reassembled.
all went quite smoothly, however i dont know if im just being paranoid or if i havent seated the parcel shelf properly.

when i open the boot and it illuminates the inside of the boot, i can see the light shine up through the parcel shelf that i have never noticed before.
just wanted to know if anyone elses car does that. or do i need to take out the parcel shelf and re seat it.

the area i am talking about it shining through is circled in red in this random VE pic. if it doesnt make sense ill take a pic tonight of my own car.

tips/thoughts appreciated

That little bit will allow the boot light to show through slightly. All fine.

all good then, just paranoid about everything i take out my car and put back not being 100% correct.

No worries mate - i'm the same, when people do work on the car I'm convinced something isn't right!

Yeah all good, mine shows through a small section of light in the centre.
