Hey guys,
I have a basic idea of what a line locker is, but could u correct me if i am wrong...
Is it like a switch or something that disables the back brakes so u can do a full brake/accelorator burnout??? How much are they and where can you get them from??

Cheers;)

sorry dude ,jokes over.I cant go on.A line locker is when you put one foot on brake other on accelerator, and do a burnout on the spot and produce a line of rubber on the ground, hence the name line locker. sorry man, but would have been funny to see you down at local holden dealer askin for a line locker.:D

Sorry man but jokes on you. Thats a standstill. A line locker is the name given to a device that either clamps the brakes (front or rear) either on or off. They are made for 4x4'ing orginally but have been adapted for burnouts/staging, etc.
As for how they work, they have a small 'clamp' of such on the brake line. When the switch is throw a solinoid is activated which forces the clamp shut. If you do this with your foot on the brake the caliper will stay clamped on (used in 4x4'ing on hills, etc) or if applied when your foot is off the pedal stops the fluid from reaching the caliper making it non functional.
