What is the purpose of the car?

Burnout car?
100% Street car?

If you never do burnouts, theres no need for a line locker.
The price is good (considering a proper line locker kit is $200, and the spool is $100ish)

Line lockers are good for burnouts, flick the switch, and back brakes are off. Meaning easily spinning the wheels.

Yep. My car is a street car that has burnout duties when i can be bothered going to the comps, so its with it for me to have one.

i know someone with a line locker and he loves it
if you plan to do long burnouts this is a good thing so your brakes don't glow red and burnout

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend uninstalling a line locker. I assume, for safety's sake, you'd want to run a whole new brake line to each side. At least you wouldn't have to run them to the back, I guess :p
