Yeah, its a bit of an interesting mix. So far only had the first 2 CD's playing. Its one of those ones where you don't know the song, but then hear it and finally know the name behind it.
They were very good, having said that, the bill could have been flipped coz Scorpions were also very good. All round great night.
Mock me if you must , but earlier, I was listening to the original Jesus Christ Super Star soundtrack, Yvonne Ellman has a lovely voice , and Ian Gillan can belt out a good song too
My wife, bought VIP tickets to ZZ Top on our stay in Tulsa Oklahoma. They played all their hits, a bit flat on the singing due to age. The rest was as good as usual. Great concert !! Part of the goodie bag from the VIP tickets. We were 5 rows from the stage.
Double J were playing the Hottest 100 from 1999 throughout today. https://www.abc.net.au/doublej/music-reads/features/hottest-100-1999-full-list/11837900 some awesome music was in there.
My brother in law asked me to list 10 influential albums for me leading to my current tastes. I listed this album but realised ( I'll age myself ) I have it on LP ( but no player set up). While I have plenty of their albums on CD & my ipod =not this . Thanks to JB hifi being an essential service I now have it on CD.
No mocking, but, yeah, he did a have a few good songs with some band that is still around today. Some Millennials might say that this one is a cynical cash grab by a few has-been rockers that are taking advantage of the current world predicament. But, then, I am not a Millennial.
I was watching this fantasy movie called "Sucker Punch". It has, in my opinion, a good sountrack. Here is a modern version of the song "Tomorrow Never Knows" by the Beetles. I like it better with a woman voice and with modern tech, better produced. Here is the original remastered.
In the car, have been listening to a bit of Triple M's digital station hard and heavy. otherwise its on the J's and this has recently been of interest.
