live axle or IRS?

    hi everyone,

    I'm looking to lower my car with a FE2 suspension kit (ebay) and was wondering if someone could help me out with figuring out whether my car is a live axle or IRS?

    My car details are as follows: 1994 VR Commodore Executive Sedan.

    I'd apprechiate your help!

    bugger all chance it's IRS, but the way to check is to get ya head under the bum. if the rear axle is straight it's live axle, if the shafts are angled then it's irs

    If it looks like a dune buggy/ rc car in the rear end then it's IRS, 99% change is live axel being an executive since it would have been a very expensive option to get irs
