Even 90% of general mechanics will send diffs out to specialists.

Banana peels moreso for diff whine won't really do jack for clunking backlash.

Worked surprisingly well whem cousin & I tried that myth on his charger as young lads

Its not wining or grinding so i dont need banana skin or saw dust
So perhaps i need to tighten the pre load do i need to get shims etc etc
When i pull it apart

You'll need a good magnetic dial indicator, various size shims, gear lapping/marking paste and a lot of time.
