I’ve had my heater core develop a leak and start an overheating problem, I cut the hose and joined it but it started happening again. I realised that it’s got a kink and not letting the flow through properly so I need to get a new hose to bypass the core. I’m having trouble finding what size hose I actually need and where to get it. I keep find info saying 5/8” to 3/4” and a few others saying 5/8” to 1 1/8”

Any help would be appreciated!

I don’t think there’s going to be a diameter difference in the heater pipes and it’s going to be better than a kinked hose like you have now.

Otherwise try a Holden 5ltr heater bypass hose?

I’ve just tried to measure it and I’ve got about 14-16mm in to about a 27-30mm out so that part would only fit on a single end. Can’t seem to find ones of these measurements anywhere

Sounds like your try to bypass the wrong hoses.

Are we talking LN3 or L36? Both engines are quite a bit different.

The plate says ln3.
This is a better photo of it, the hoses out are quite a bit different in size
