The one you linked is 30mm both ends. The LS1 isn’t big enough on the largest end. I’ll replug a bend into this current one instead.
Although it might still be dead, my mechanic reckons that the link shouldn’t cause any type of overheating?

Yeah I’ll give it a go, tighten up so it doesn’t stop flow.

Can it cause it overheating if it constricts enough and blocks the flow?

It would do because you get trapped air and restricted flow. Where that happens, you can bet something goes bad.
