Hello all,
just wanting to get an opinion on something, Im a member of ANZ but there interest rates are not all the best, I am very interested in CUA because there interest rated are very good, is it possiable to get a loan through another company ( CUA ) but stay with my current bank ANZ??? i have a good credit rating, or would it be to hard because CUA does not know my history or would they just get that info from ANZ.

They will check you credit history with a credit agency.

If your salary deposits into ANZ and you have been banking with ANZ for a long time, getting a loan with ANZ will be almost like cake assuming you credit history is up to scratch.

Getting a loan with CUA will be fine too, just they will ask for documentation, payslips, bank statements, will contact your employer in some cases to verify employment status etc as well as do a national credit check. Will also take a bit longer in turn around for the loan to be approved and then passed into cash for you.

Though, if the interest rates are better, loan establishment fees or ongoing account keeping fees are better go with CUA it will be beneficial for you in the long run, for a little bit more wait. If CUA refuse you, then you can always go back to ANZ however keep in mind everytime you apply for credit it is added to your credit file and could render your credit rating as whenever a creditor runs a credit check against your name it is permanently stored on your file however they say, 2 times per 12 month is okay, 3 times is pushing and 4 times can render your ability to obtain credit - when this happens you just need to wait 12 month and try again. Its very complicated but, to keep it simple try CUA failing that then go with ANZ.
