My drivers side window has a habit of not working sometimes, i can here a click, like its a contact issue...it's like 1 day it works and the next it day it does not!

My dist to empty says 0 and I'm still driving around wtf?? it will change if i pump like 20 bucks in her, but if i put 10 bucks in, it says 0.... yeah i dont have to drive anywhere really so that's why I'm so cheap :boxing:

    Cheers

If your fuel level lis so low that it reads zero to empty, you are obviously on your last whiffs of fumes, perhaps 2 or 3 litres left in the tank. 10 bucks worth won't even tickle the gauge, but 20 will. It's quite normal to get so low that it reads zero.

Regarding the window, the problem is either a dud switch, dud connection in the window motor or faulty BCM. The location of the click you hear will be a clue. If it's in the door, it's the motor. Under the dash - BCM. Console - switch. See if you can localise the clicking you can hear first.

i'd probably just pull the switch out and clean the 2 brass contacts in there... they get quite dirty after a while and i had that problem with one of mine a while ago
Also the holden feul gauges arent the most accurate things going (they do the job though) so like calaber said its just cause its got no fuel in it and 10 litres isnt all that much in a 75L tank

Cheers peeps, yeah i suspect my cheap ass fuel fill ups are the problem for the 0. I'll sus out the window today.. i think it could be the BCM by the sounds of things, but then again i gave the ride a major clean out yesterday after a long ass trip through the dirt n outback roads, I'll check those brass connections 4 sure b4 i replace parts.

    Thanks!!
