mm, remembering they're 10yrs old now, with all the associated issues. Pulsars where pieces of **** when they were new too.

Scooters are really fast... when you're sliding on your face.

i vote for a bike also

This. My commdore = $80 p/w
CBR250RR = $10 p/w.. WIN!

I would say go an old corolla or excel.. My excel was bullet proof, manual and good on fuel.

Not that I'd want one, but you're the one who wants to save petrol, which in the long run, it won't work out your favour unless you keep it for more than 4 years

Second on a Pulsar like a N14 or N15

I had a 1990 Celica, had all the power options, had a lot of power for a 4cyl and was great on Fuel - $50 and got about 450ks out of it. You can pick them up fairly cheap.

Sounds like your major motive for buying a second car is to learn manual. My suggestion would be to get some driving lessons in a manual car, that way you can learn properly and if you decide you suck at driving manual or hate it you aren't left with a 4k waste of money.

Toyota Corolla.

Toyota Camry.

LOL @ camry - even though some of the official figures were less than Commodore, their shear bulk = nearly as much fuel as a Commodore that it doesn't matter in real world driving.

True that, but they do just keep on going. My mates mum's one has 600+ on the clock and it just keeps going, barely any trouble with it.

Fuel usage is a downside though...thirsty bastards.
