    Cheers mpower.
But for others that haven't read my other thread or can't be bothered. The silver shell was brought to replace the original shell I wrote off. Because I brought it so cheap I wasn't worried about the colour.

    :)

Go buy a base model. Doing a satin paint job on a HSV is just wrong.

I hear what you're saying. And I'm sure you aren't the only one on here that think it's wrong. I can respect that.
Only, the day I pulled out the original LS1 and re-powered it with a LS2, not to mention replacing the original brakes to D2's, the list goes on. That was the day it was no longer an original HSV Clubsport. So I probably decreased the value of it to be fair. But it's a personal thing. And personally I like my ride, but I understand it isn't everyones cup of tea. ;)

lol, HSV means dick to me as well. just a glorified holden. im just saying that the car is silver, so silver would be easiest.

i think the question is. what colour do YOU want. and therein lies the answer.

based on my own expierence of asking JC for opinions goes like this:

"what colour should i do my dash? option 1, white, option 2, green, option 3, brown"

they will always answer "orange" or purple or some other weird-arse colour that wasnt even an option to begin with. have a read of my 98 page build thread for some of the most dead-**** answers youve ever read.

    so:
matte black is LOTS of work and doesnt look all that great
black looks great but your twin has it already
    you dont like silver

hope we have been of some help.

I was only asking for images of, "satin black" as the thread stated, not matt. But I don't mind people expressing their own opinions.
I've only just started my build thread. It isn't even 1 page long. lol

And yes, you lot have helped thanks.

And that's fine. But I thank you for your input to this one.

As was posted on another commodore forum.

"rims will either make or break the colour"

This is how it should be done.

I hate the bright wheels, gloss black would look better imo.
