Looking for another registered Vn Sedan to buy?

Hi I've had to deregister current vn as it was in a family members names and I don't think it will make roadworthy with out some major modification. So what I'm thinking is to invest in another Vn that is road worthy and has been somewhat done up.

Of course I've got a limited budget but would like to use the newer fixed up vn as my drive to work car plus weekends and the older vn I already have as spare parts?

Does anyone think this is a good idea or should I just try to invest the money in trying to get the one I have road worthy instead?

Please tell me what you think?

It all depends on the cost of making the current VN roadworthy vs buying another VN that suits your current wishes...

At least you know it's history. For me that's important- there's over 25 years of memories attached to my old VQ.
