Opel Omega
Hi all,

I live in The Netherlands and drive a Opel Omega estate.
We are in the process in upgrading the rear brake rotors, but it is very hard to find the right size and maybe you Holden drivers can help me.
Because the Holden looks like an Omega and perhaps they use the same kind of rotors

The standard vented rotors are 5 x 110 and 286mm x 20mm with an inner drum for the handbrake shoe.

I am looking for vented rear disc rotor with a diameter of at least 300mm.

Because it is very hard to find any good information about the rotors they use in the Holdens I am hoping one of you can help me.
If there any vented rear brake rotors which will almost fit please let me know.

Here is some information about the solid rear disc brakes.

I'm not sure that there's going to be anything that bolts straight on. While the Commodore and Omega look similar they are different cars. Have you found the Disc Brakes Australia catalogue? That's available as a downloadable pdf file and lists at least the major dimensions of the Commodore (and others) discs.

You probably won't be able to find anything off the shelf from Australia, all the Commodore rotors have a PCD of 5x120, similar to a BMW. The last Commodore to use drum brakes (if they did, I'm not sure) probably would have been equivalent to an early Rekord or Senator.

You might be able to order a custom set from DBA or one of the other companies down here though.

Hi Mate, can I suggest you contact Willwood in the US, pretty sure they have distributors in Europe. They have a very large range of rotors, callipers etc, and are extremely helpful. They are great quality too.

But they still use shoes inside the disc for the park brake.

You might be able to order a custom set from DBA or one of the other companies down here though.

For a one off it would be too expensive but yes, DBA can do some pretty small volume orders, like say a car club could put together.

The HSV VT rear rotor may be close:

Vented A 315, B 71, C 18, D 16, E 70, F 5

A = Diameter
B = Original Height
C = Original Thickness
D = Min. Thickness
E = Centrel Hole Diameter
F = No. of Bolt Holes
