Hi All,

I've got a VF II SS Redline, and it has the crappy single tone horn, I'm wanting to replace this with the twin trumpet unit found on VF series I Calais, SV6.

Does anyone have the part numbers for both the high and low tone units please? I did enquire at FTG Holden 4 weeks ago... and I'm yet to hear back o_O

92258848 is the 500 HZ horn the VF is missing. I have one but yet to install because it seems like the relay has been omitted from series II. 400 HZ is 92258851

To be honest, I'd be purchasing a horn(s) from one of the cheap Japanese cars out at the moment. They are fantastically loud and strident.

Same. The VF2 is so insipid that I refrain from using it unless absolutely necessary....

Any recommendations? I remember many years ago I nabbed a set out of a VS Statesman for my VS Berlina... twin trumpets, and they were bloody loud!

IIRC the wiring harness on the front end module is also different, the loom for the 2nd horn won't be present....

That's correct. You need to make a harness to reach the other horn. No one has been able to confirm where the relay is on the series 2.
