Or just bypass the boost solenoid ;)

I did think about that :D, but I wondered what the ECM might think o_O, It might get all confused  .
The option could be, bypass it and go for a hard drive (not hoon drive) and do a scan, see if it throws up any errors.
However, I am one to keep a car stock with no funny stuff done to it, as it will be worth more :)

Don't unplug the solenoid as that will upset the PCM. Just don't connect it to anything and problem solved. The solenoid is there to allow the PCM to reduce boost under certain conditions. but those tiny vacuum hoses also restrict the blower valve solenoid on the side of the blower. With the lines removed and plugged the boost comes on quicker.

Sorry for the large images...

For future reference, you can use an excellent free application called "Irfanview" to decrease the size of your images as well as a number of other manipulations. Easiest and safest way is to download it from the website "ninite.com" (without the apostrophes ").

Do the VS models have it on the passenger side only? I noticed VT models have a boost solenoid on passenger side head and drivers side head?
