I'll be on my opens this December and I'm keen on buying a v8. I'm not sure what type of Commodore I want. I change my mind almost every week, but today I've come across a nice VY Clubsport. I also seen a nice VZ Clubsport. What would be the best recommendation? Would the 5.7 litre ls1 be much different from a 6 litre ls2?

be wary of any and all modifications - they

a) may not be what the owner says
b) not be legal
c) cheap crap see a.

if it has been modified try and find out information about it.

if they say x workshop did it then go speak to them about it and see what they have to say.
also a good idea if you do have modifications planned to go speak to the place you want to do said work at for their opinions on some things.

they are pretty similar motors.
just pick out which one you would prefer and go for that.
don't be afraid to wait out until you find the one you really want with the right paint and other extras.
basically don't rush into it and youll be fine.

enjoy the shopping and viewing.
